He walked into the station, commuters buzzing around him whilst his head and heart buzzed with them. His palms were sweating, his mouth dry, and his stomach filled with butterflies as he strode towards the platform. Looking at his phone he read the last message;
Pulling in to the platform now. Can’t wait to see you. Xxx.
His heart pounded more as he wiped his see sweaty palms down his black jeans moving closer to the platform. He stood watching people walk from the train, his heart now in his mouth as his eyes scanned the crowd until he saw her. He saw his petite beauty. She was walking towards him pulling her case behind her. He could see her long auburn hair tumbling down her chest as she was checking her phone. She looked stunning. He could feel a huge grin forming on his face as he saw how beautiful she was as her eyes rested on him and her smile lit up his heart. Her stride quickened despite the bags she was carrying in her hands until she reached him and put the bag down and looked at him with a smile showing nerves and joy in equal measure. He leant in and took her cheek with the palm of his hand and kissed her lips softly and quickly. He had never wanted to kiss someone so much in his life, had never felt such a connection from a few seconds of intimacy. His eyes closed, and lips pursed, ready to repeat this act forever. He drew his lips away and opened his eyes to see her smiling, still nervous, but it appeared she felt something too.
“Hi, shall we go?” He asked as he took her hand and took her bag in his hand. Their fingers interlocked and he knew. He knew that he would never want to let go of her again. He would do anything to keep her smile, to keep that smile aimed at him, to make it grow, to make her happy. His heart was hers, and he knew it really was love at first sight.
This really happened. This is not a story, or an embellishment of the fact. Three months ago I met the most remarkable of women. A woman who makes me crave her without trying, whose heart and compassion is inspiring, whose demeanour and sexuality allures me and her smile distracts my every thought. I am an extremely lucky man. I am so very happy that she is with me, and I hope it is the start of a very long and happy life together.
To you, my petite beauty I’d like to say Happy Valentines day on this the anniversary of when we first spoke. When you distracted me and inspired me and hooked my mind and heart on this journey to joy. Thank you for being you. There is no one else who is so unique or such a wonder, no one else that I would rather spend more time in their company, or less time apart from. I want to share everything in this world that I know with you, and discover the rest by your side, holding your hand. I love you, I want you and you are amazing. Happy Valentines #fmd.
